Art is in my heart and soul. But drawing and painting isn't just for me, I also want to help other people develop their skill so they can create and share art as well. As a classically trained artist, I teach students the fundamentals of art to help them draw and paint what inspires them. I firmly believe the better trained an artist is, they better they can express themselves. I offer art lessons to a wide variety of students. Whether you're a beginner interested in learning something new, or have a talent you want to develop professionally, I can teach you. Pet Portraits"He captured my heart. I wanted to capture him on canvas."
My journey with painting pet portraits began right here at home...with our beagle Shiloh. It was with sad and heavy hearts our family was forced to say goodbye to him. As a keepsake, I painted his portrait in pastel with his tag attached to the frame. Although he will be greatly missed, I am happy to have this lasting memory of our pet for the entire family to enjoy. I know firsthand how much a pet becomes part of a family. If you are interested in having a painting done to commemorate a special occasion, or to give to someone you love, I am available for a wide range of commission paintings. Whether it's a wedding moment you'd like to celebrate, a portrait of a loved one, or a special place or landscape, I do paintings for all occasions. One of my absolute favorite types of painting to do is what I call a Memory Canvas; a nostalgic still life showcasing a collection of your favorite things or family heirloom items.
